Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić inaugurated a drone assembly plant in Belgrade on 17 September. Reuters and AP described the facility as a partnership between Serbia's state-owned Yugoimport-SDPR and Israel's Elbit Systems. [1] [2]

The plant is expected to employ about 100 people and assemble Israeli-designed unmanned aircraft for Serbia's armed forces, with possible production for other customers. AP reported that production details were withheld on confidentiality grounds and that three additional facilities are envisioned; those plans are not completed factories. [1] [2]
