OMV Petrom has contracted Simtel Team to build a 20 MW/40 MWh battery at its Ișalnița solar project in Dolj County, Balkan Green Energy News reported on 17 September. The engineering, procurement and construction agreement envisages completion in seven months; the battery is not yet operational. [1]
