Bulgaria's state-owned TEREM Holding and Czech defence company SVOS signed a memorandum of understanding at a Bulgarian–Czech business forum in Sofia on 16 September. The two companies described it as a framework for strategic industrial cooperation. [1]
The memorandum opens the possibility of TEREM acting as a subcontractor for selected components, integration, final assembly and maintenance of a mobile short-range air-defence system. It is not a production order or completed procurement contract. [1]
ContextTEREM said the proposed system combines the Czech MARS S-330 armoured vehicle with Saab's RBS 70 NG missile and Giraffe 1X radar, plus a command post. [1]
